Ilyani Abdullah

Ilyani Abdullah is a Senior Lecturer and Deputy Dean (Talent and Research) at the Faculty of Computer Science and Mathematics, Universiti Malaysia Terengganu (UMT). She obtained her Bachelor of Science (Mathematics) and Master of Science (Mathematics) degrees from Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia (UKM), and subsequently earned her PhD in Mathematics from Universiti Teknologi Malaysia (UTM).

Throughout her academic career, she has successfully led several research grants and published numerous scholarly articles in the fields of haemodynamics, non-Newtonian fluid mechanics, and applied mathematics. Her current research interests include mathematical modelling of physiological flows, numerical simulation techniques, stability analysis, and emerging applications of computational mathematics in biomedical sciences. She is actively involved in postgraduate education, research management, and international academic collaborations.
