Dr. Professor

Professor Ram Jiwari is a distinguished researcher in numerical analysis and scientific computing at Indian Institute of Technology Roorkee, with expertise in finite element methods, weak Galerkin methods, Hybrid High-Order (HHO) methods, wavelet analysis, computational modeling, machine learning, and the numerical solution of partial differential equations. His research focuses on the development and rigorous analysis of advanced numerical algorithms for complex mathematical models arising in science and engineering. He has successfully led several funded projects supported by CSIR, SERB, and IIT Roorkee, addressing nonlinear parabolic and hyperbolic partial differential equations, singularly perturbed problems, and computational simulations of physical systems. His work has broad applications in fluid dynamics, heat and mass transfer, reaction–diffusion processes, wave propagation, environmental and atmospheric modeling, biological systems, industrial process simulations, and emerging data-driven scientific computing. With more than one hundred research publications, extensive citations, and active national and international collaborations, he has made significant contributions to the advancement of computational mathematics and high-fidelity numerical methods for real-world engineering and scientific applications.
