Berdishev Abdumauvlen Suleymanovich

Abdumauvlen Suleymanovich Berdyshev is a professor and Head of the Department of Mathematics and Mathematical Modeling at Abai Kazakh National Pedagogical University (KazNPU). He received his higher education in Mathematics at the Faculty of Mathematics of Tashkent State University, graduating with honors in 1980. He defended his Candidate of Sciences dissertation in differential equations and mathematical physics in 1985, and in 2000 he successfully defended his Doctor of Sciences dissertation in the theory of differential equations. In 2006, he was awarded the academic title of professor.

Throughout his scientific and pedagogical career, he has held a number of leadership positions at higher education institutions in Kazakhstan and Uzbekistan, including Vice-Rector for Research, Head of Department, University Rector, and Institute Director. Since 2008, his professional activity has been associated with Abai KazNPU, where he has made a significant contribution to the development of mathematical education, scientific research, and the training of highly qualified scientific personnel.

His current research interests include the theory of local and nonlocal boundary value problems for differential equations of mixed and mixed-composite types, spectral theory, mathematical modeling, numerical methods, and applied problems of mathematical physics. Professor Berdyshev actively supervises scientific projects, participates in international scientific conferences, and collaborates with leading scholars in the field of mathematics. Under his scientific supervision, 4 Candidates of Sciences and 9 Doctors of Philosophy (PhD) have been trained. He is the author of more than 250 scientific publications, including articles in high-ranking international journals, monographs, and intellectual property objects.
