Dr. Professor

Dr. ABDUL TALIB BON is a Professor in Time Series Prediction and Operations Research in Department of Production and Operations Management, Universiti Tun Hussein Onn Malaysia since 2015. He was the founder for the faculty.

· He obtained his PhD in Computer Science with Very Honourable from the Universite de La

Rochelle, France. His doctoral thesis was on topic Artificial Intelligence in Manufacturing. He

studied Business Administration major in Operations Research at the master’s level in the

Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia for which he was awarded the MBA. He’s bachelor degree and

diploma in Mechanical Engineering which his obtained from the Universiti Teknologi Malaysia.

· He had over 36 years experiences of teaching in higher learning education. In this university,

he teaches Time Series Prediction, Operations Research, Artificial Intelligence, Statistical

Modelling and Simulation, Project Management and Quantitative Methods for Management at

the under-graduate and post graduate program.

· He also holds an honorary Visiting Professor position with the several universities in Malaysia,

Indonesia, Philippines and Uzbekistan. He has served as an academic program external

examiner for various public and private universities in Malaysia, Indonesia and Philippines.

· His completed 20 research grant projects as project leader and member. He has supervised

more than 100 undergraduate and 50 postgraduate research projects.

· Dr. Abdul Talib Bon has served as the Editor in Chief, Editorial Board and Reviewer for journals

and conference proceedings.

· He had published more than 356 documents, 825 Citation and H-Index 11 in Scopus, 4947

citation and H-Index 30 in Google Scholar. He also published two books in title Forecasting:

Technique and Applications, Industrial Management and four books in title Engineering

Management.

· He is also President of Industrial Engineering and Operation Management Society (IEOMS,

Malaysia Chapter)
