Normi Abdul Hadi

Normi Abdul Hadi received her first and Master degrees in Mathematics from Universiti Sains Malaysia (USM), 2005 - 2006. Her PhD is in Computational Mathematics in 2015 from Universiti Teknologi MARA (UiTM). In 2018, she was enrolled as a postdoctoral researcher at Ibnu Sina Institute for Scientific and Industrial Research, Universiti Teknologi Malaysia (UTM) in High-Performance Computing (HPC). She has been a senior Mathematics lecturer at Universiti Teknologi MARA (UiTM) since 2006. Her research interest is in Computer Aided Geometric Design (CAGD). Currently, she focuses on CAGD in 3D point clouds and parallel computing. She has won several medals and grants for her research, such as Best Paper Award ICoSET 2019, Indonesia and a gold medal for e-Portfolio Linear Algebra at eConDeV 2020. In 2021, she was rewarded a Professional Technologist (Ts) from the Malaysia Board of Technologists (MBOT) and also a certified Microsoft Educator (Azure Data Fundamental). She wrote a book, "Step by Step Guidelines, Education 4.0 Software for All Level of Educations in 21st Century (2019)" in dwi-language, English and Malay, published by the National Library of Malaysia. Her expertise was recognized at national and international levels. She has been invited as a trainer in education technology and HPC in several countries such as Malaysia, Indonesia and Saudi Arabia. She has supervised more than 20 postgraduate students, including international students from China and India, and has been involved in several global lectures with Uzbekistan. Since 2022, she is the leader of Center of Excellence (CoE) UiTM-Maple, focusing on developing e-content for mathematics courses.
